WHO WE ARE:

Specific Gravity consultants have real world experience in the usage of dynamic pricing utilized on the Yield View platform. Through careful analysis and management of a Yield View supplier we have demonstrated the ability to free ticket sellers from third party commissions while reaching established goals of the three major factors ticket sellers focus on; effective ticket price, skier visits and total revenue. A focus on analysis, marketing and revenue management combined with ski industry experience in point of sale, e-commerce and fulfillment has positioned us as the best company to offer these solutions. We offer our services for a fraction of the cost that an in-house full service yield management team would cost and provide constant vigilance and management of a dynamic sales channel. We deliver a robust pricing model customized to the resort that maximizes revenue, directs visitation volume and encourages advance purchase.

OUR METHODOLOGY

Specific Gravity consults with revenue management leaders at the resort to set goals in effective ticket price, skier visits and total revenue. With goals determined, we will comb historical trends, forecasted future trends and realistic sales metrics to create a dynamic pricing model suited to that ticket seller's business. Once the ground work of building the pricing model is complete, we configure and implement that sales channel working with the ticket seller to determine the best release dates and marketing. During the selling season we analyze the current sales trends, weather forecasts, and pace to goals to ensure that the current available price is precisely balanced with expected demand and desired volume. At the end of a selling season we provide a seasonal recap and recommendations for the following season.
